There was a lot of intensity here in Rome as Hans-Georg Lutz, Senior Manager International Corporate Sales at Mercedes-Benz Cars announced the winner of the International Fleet Manager of the Year 2015 – Large Fleet Award. The enthusiasm of Christian Lindskov Alsø, Head of Group Fleet Management & Procurement Excellence at ISS World Services, was visible as his name echoed. He joked when asked why he won that it is “obviously because we are the best.” Christian Lindskov Alsø thanked his team warmly for this achievement.
ISS World Services, based in Denmark, is one of the world’s four largest companies, offering multiple services like facility management, security, catering or cleaning. Christian Lindskov Alsø has managed for two years now a fleet of 20,000 vehicles in 33 countries. His fleet management main priority remains to secure that all 510,968 employees of ISS are safe. For this, the ISS HSE & CSR team developed the company’s Driver Handbook which is shared across all ISS countries. In his fleet strategy he privileges innovative vehicles, and focuses on operational fit and lowest TCO. Christian Lindskov Alsø wants to convince the business about the impact of making the right sourcing choices within fleet management. With his International Fleet Manager of the Year 2015 – Large Fleet Award tonight he is on the right way to achieve this.
